Our Story
What started as a few weekend camping trips quickly turned into a way of life. We realized you don’t need long vacations or fancy resorts to make unforgettable memories — just a tank of gas, a tent or camper, and a little curiosity to see what’s out there.
Hi there! We’re the family behind Adventure RVing, and we’re so glad you stopped by.
We’re Marta, Piotr, Jacob, and Eli Regmunt-Sobieszczański — a family of four who loves the thrill of discovery, the peace of nature, and the joy of spending time together under the open sky.
Our Story
From Poland to the Open Roads of America
Our story doesn’t begin with a camper or even a map — it starts thousands of miles away in Poland, where both Marta and I grew up. Back then, our adventures were simple: hiking through forests, spending time near lakes, and dreaming about what lay beyond the horizon.
Life’s journey brought us to the United States, to the bustling suburbs of Chicago, where we built our home, raised our boys, and found new ways to stay connected to the outdoors we loved so much.
We met in 2002, started dating in 2008, and from that point on, adventure became a shared language — one that has taken us from mountain peaks to quiet lakesides, and from spontaneous weekend getaways to carefully planned road trips across the country.
How It All Began
What started as “a few camping trips” quickly became a way of life. In the beginning, it was just us, a tent, and the excitement of escaping the daily grind for a weekend. We quickly realized that you don’t need long vacations or luxury resorts to create lasting memories — sometimes all it takes is a tank of gas, a campfire, and good company.
Our love for outdoor life truly blossomed here in the U.S., especially once we discovered snowboarding. Trips to Colorado became a tradition, where Marta fell in love with the mountains and the pure joy of carving through fresh powder. Those experiences only deepened our connection to nature — and to each other.
From Tent Life to Travel Trailer Adventures
When our boys were little, tent camping was our go-to. There’s nothing like watching your kids roast marshmallows under the stars or waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. But as the boys grew older — and as the summer heat grew less appealing — we decided to make the jump to a travel trailer.
Our first one was small, cozy, and just perfect for weekend escapes. But as our adventures (and our family) grew, so did our needs. Two years later, we upgraded to a much larger trailer — and suddenly, the road felt even more like home.
Now, every trip feels like a new chapter in our family story. Whether it’s waking up to a mountain sunrise, biking along a forest trail, or watching the sunset over a quiet lake, we’ve learned that every journey — big or small — holds something special.
Why We Created Adventure RVing
Life can get busy — work, school, errands, routines. But we’ve made it a family mission to break away from all that whenever we can. When Friday rolls around, our favorite words are:
“Let’s go explore the unknown!”
Through Adventure RVing, we want to share our experiences and inspire other families to do the same — to get out, explore, and make memories that last far beyond the weekend.
